Taking bits and pieces from a movie

whats going on everyone. I have a question for ya, I want to take certain scenes from movies and put them together onto one DVD. Can someone give me a little explo on how do to this? This is for school and the final is due in 18 hours so please help

Best advice I can give you is rip the streams in SmartRipper and then do your editing in Adobe Premiere. Not sure of the legality of using clips for public display in a school project but I'm sure as long as you document your copyright info and perhaps place a copyright overlay at the end of the clip, you're good. :)

it is not for public display, i wrote a paper about two movies and to give the teacher a better understanding of what i am talking about in certain scenese i am showing them to her
