Sorry about the lack of info last time. Here is the error that vdub gives me when I try to open an .avi file I captured thru firewire from my digital8 camcorder: 'Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'dvsd' (unknown). VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShop codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.'
