HI!
Workinf on XCDit 0.5 alpha, I found several bugs in ogg-related software.
1. oggenc.exe command-line from dailyvorbis package by John33 (latest from rarewarez) has a ram-usage-bug. Encoding big files ram usage gets higher and higher until it exceeds, then encoding is stopped.
2. Gain tag gets not set by vorbisgain/besweet or not used by DS-Filter. I tried to use post-gain in besweet. Additionally, i tried vorbisgain. Shown gain was the same (about +22dB), but file gets no louder than original one, which can't be true, 22 dB is a lot of difference.
Any suggestions for finxing this problems?
I will try winamps ogg-playback to check if the second problem is situated on the encoding or the decoding site.

afaik, Winamp 2.80 supports BeSweet's postgain tag.
Tobias' DSF should support it with his new release.

So post gain is working on encoder site, and only correct decoding is missing, right?
So movies I encoded now, will work with new post-gain-decoder from Tobias?
It would be nice to know this, so I can burn my movies stored on harddisk to CD without being panic that their maximum peak will be about -22dB.

P.S. The first bug in oggenc.exe is not such a problem, since libvorbis.dll is working, but how can such a bug happen?

Not sure about Tobias' plans here, we havent talked to each other for a while. robux4 was planning to extend MCF specs to support replay gain, but i dont know current status here .. will try to send him here though ...

Replay Gain, is this somehow like TFM Audio?

confused: Has someone heard anything from Tobias? A release date for this new filter-set capable of post-gain usage and mono-streams? As I mentioned in another thread, this both features are currently not working.
@DSPGuru
I hope I don't nerve you, but you haven't told me yet if you'll add this -o switch of azid.dll, I would really need it if Tobias fixes this bug in his Dshow-filter.
