Can anyone pls help me with the following problem.
When I try to encode a dvd movie to divx I always get a sort of freeze frame at the same exact point in my movie. The place where there error appears depends on wether I use vfpavi or avisynt. Both programs give the error, but at a different location. So the error when using using vfpavi turns out correct when using avisynt and the errorred frame with avisynt turns out correct when using vfpavi.
When I say asort of freezeframe, I mean that the movie gets the descrambled screen as with a regular freezeframe, but when checking for freezeframes with vdub, no bad frames are found. Also, when I play the ripped vobs, there is no problem at that specific scene and reripping the dvd with different decrypting programs or different computers didn't help (tried smartripper, dvd decrypter and vstrip).
So I checked what happens during encoding at the specific scene and it turned out that at that specific point nandubs internal scd inserts one keyframe after the other even when internal scd is set to 100.
So, I really have no idea how to solve this problem. I don't even know what's causing it. Is it the divx codec, is it nandub, vfpavi, avisynth, badly decrypted vobs,...
Thanks in advance
