I have a Pioneer DVR-A03 and I'm using Princo DVD-R. I'm trying to backup Pearl Harbor. I use DVD Decrypter to copy the files to my hard drive, and IfoEdit 0.9 to split the files to 2 DVD-Rs. When I try to copy the files back to DVD-R using Prassi PrimoDVD 2.0, I get a message that Windows XP has encountered an error and will shut the program down, but it doesn't show an actual error message. I've reinstalled PrimoDVD and still the same problem. Any ideas how to correct this?

Try other burning software like RecordNow MAX, InstantCD/DVD or GearProDVD.

take care

I've tried RecordNow and have the same problem. I viewed the log in both PrimoDVD and RecordNow. They both show the same message:

"Job 1 Error: Host:1 ID:0 (E:) - Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-103 Stopped because of VIDEO_TS or AUDIO_TS DVD Format Error"

I also had problems doing this and manged to waste many hours of my time trying to get it to work.

However I did manage to work out how to split a DVD and make a backup successfuly.

I split it using Ifoedit and then used Nero 5.8.0.

Give it a go. Drop me an email if you need some detailed instructions
