Problem ripping all the episodes

A weird dvd came into my hands.
It has 4 episodes spread in 7 vobs.
When in dvd2svcd it shows that there are 8 episodes. The legth of the first and the fifth the second and the 6th and so on are the same. When I tried ripping them via dvd2svcd I end up with only 1 episode.
So I riiped them with decryptor and done all of them together without any problems exept that I wanted each episode in a cd but I guess I ll survive.
Its SG1 17-18 reg2. If it means something to anybody.
Has anyone ever come acros something like that

You might want to try SmartRipper.

Just so you know whenever possible use the included rippers, but sometimes you have no choice.

decryptor has a bad habit of ripping stuff you don't want.

Try using vstrip and selecting the length from the conversion tab. I had a similar problem with Sex and the City. Sometimes vstrip will pick up things that the internal routines dont pick up.

I am an SG1 fanatic (among other things...)
MGM puts one episode per ifo-two vobs. I have backed up succesfully almost all the episodes of seasons 2,3,4 (R2), one episode per CD, using only d2s internal routines.
The main episodes are vobs 1-4 (usually). The others (if any) are the extras. Using D2S disc mode will show only one episode, or 7-8, some or all of them with the same running time. Using file mode, you open the VIDEO_TS folder and click on VTS_01_0.ifo (episode 1). That's ep. 1. Do the same for the rest( VTS_02_0.ifo etc). I use the new batch mode to encode several episodes per night. The only thing to be aware is to CLOSE d2s after each rip and open again for the next, for some rips made immediately after the first, come out garbled (at least in my case)

If you use the back cover for title reference, the titles go 1.upper left, 2.lower left 3.upper right 4. lower right. I've seen cover with mistakes though...

The ifo is from DVD Decryptor and it has all the episodes merged in it. :( . You can try re-ripping each episode from that, with internal routines, but I think it will be a hit-and-miss operation.
What I wrote above, referred to the original ifos from the DVD. Sorry, my mistake.
