I hope that I am not breaking any of the Post rules but I wanted to Derrow and everyone involved. This forum and site is a gold mine of information.
You have all lead me through the process of DVD9 -> 2 DVDR's.
I would like to tell you that it was an easy task but I did have some problems on my first few DVD's but I was persistant Kept trying re-reaqding all the guides and FAQ's supplied and YES it was a great feeling the first time I got my own DVDR to play on my settop player.
3 Days ago I registered and was patiently waiting to ask you to help, I kept digging deeper and deeper into the forum and guides looking for answers.
I was creating DVD'd that would play great on my pc with PowerDVD and WinDVD but when put on my settop play they said No Play. I thought it was bad media.
I didn't own any burning software that would use the img created by IfoEdit so I was using Roxio Creator 5 Platnium. I read on several of the atricles about Instand VOB, so I purchased it and what a great relief, it worked.
I'm getting pretty long winded so I'll stop here, I just again wanted to thank everyone for everything. I was at first frustrated because I had to wait 3 days to post a question but in all actuallity it was the best thing because I have learned allot and feel even more comfortable now.
I have become a devoted member and will continue to reaqd the threads and help anyone else who has run into some of the same problems that I have overcome.
