View Full Version : Error opening MPEG files in TMPG

I'm having problems opening MPEG1 and 2 files on my Win2000 machine with TMPG. I can open them fine on my 98SE machine, but keep getting the "unsupported, unknown, etc" error message.

I've tried increasing the DirectShow priority to no avail, and have no idea as why I'm unable to open them.

Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appriciated.

It seems to be dependent on which DirectShow driver is installed.
I can't fully explain but the LSX Player seems to work well. Maybe the installed software mpeg player are the difference on your PCs?
