ASPI Layer

Hello I have ripped and burnt dvds before using windows 98 and had no problems before.


I installed windows xp pro on my sys last night
I new I had to down load the xp aspi layer so I did..
When I now try to use dvd2svcd im getting the analiyzing vidio please wait message.
it stays on.
so when I try to rip and convert IM getting the message-
I/O error-2147286263
If I go to aspi info in windows it says
components aspi32.sys version 4.7 wowpost.exe not installed
winaspi.dll not installed winaspi32.dll 4.7
Any ideas thanx keith.......

I've never had any luck with 4.7. You should download ForceAspi, use it to remove the old layer then use it to install 4.6. Worked for me :)
