Need HELP converting from NTSC DIVx to PAL SVCD with subs.

Hi. I am having some difficulties in doing this.
First it was TMPGEnc (2.54a) that wasn't reading Virtualdub VDR files - it was missing a MSVCR70.DLL file, which I now have (thanks to Nic for that)and everything is working fine, in what concerns frameserving anyway.
Now that I encoded a little bit of the DIVx to MPEG2, I noticed that the subtitles aren't in synch with the movie. I think I followed Doom9's guide correctly...
What I did was:
1st - save uncompressed WAV using Virtualdub
2nd - change framerate from 23.976 to 25fps using Avifrate
3rd - convert uncompressed WAV to 25fps MP2 using BeSweet
4th - direct stream copy of just the video with no audio to AVI file
5th - converted subs (MicroDvd SUB format) from 23.976 to 25fps with subadjust v1.56
6th - converted 25fps SUB to SSA using SUB2SSA
7th - Opened video only AVI file in Virtualdub, applied Subtitle filter (25fps SSA subs), start frameserver
8th - go to TMPGEnc, browse for fake avi file (VDR extension) and MP2 audio, encode (just a little)

Ok, the result is fine, except for the synch. What might be wrong?

Sorry for the long post, but I prefer to explain everything I did so that someone doesn't ask all this again.

Before someone starts yelling at me, I'm sorry because I just noticed my post isn't really related to DVD2SVCD. Maybe it is a little, if someone tells me I can all this in DVD2SVCD... That would be just great, because I am starting to like this program a lot, at least for direct DVD to SVCD rips... but what about my problems with the DIVx to SVCD conversion?

Framerate conversion in Subadjust is little confusing.
Check is new sub shorter or longer... If it's longer you need to replace source and target framerate.
