I would like know if this function is usable to you, and if it works?

Is there maybe something to change or to enhance for that function?

Hi Derrow!
Thank you for new version of the IfoEdit!
One question. Can I use this option for import menu table from original *.ifo file to Maestro's created *.ifo file in CCE-method? If it possible can you please give short instruction how make it?
Thank you again for your new work!

I've tested the merge menu function with "the abyss" special edition and yes, it works.
first i made some stupid mistakes, but now I've found a way how to do it:

generally you have to rebuild the same title structure as the original in scenarist(or in the authoring prog you prefer):

example:

Number of Title Play Maps: 5 (VMG_PTT_SRPT)
Title 1: VTS_1, TTN_1 (Angles: 1) (Chapters: 33) (Start Sector 1071)
Title 2: VTS_1, TTN_2 (Angles: 1) (Chapters: 1) (Start Sector 1071)
Title 3: VTS_1, TTN_3 (Angles: 1) (Chapters: 1) (Start Sector 1071)
Title 4: VTS_2, TTN_1 (Angles: 1) (Chapters: 1) (Start Sector 2866778)
Title 5: VTS_2, TTN_2 (Angles: 1) (Chapters: 1) (Start Sector 2866778)

in this case you have to create 2 VTS and in VTS_1 three parts of titles.
for multiple PGCs within a title you have to do the same, create the same number of PGCs in the title/part of title.
put the demuxed original and transcoded tracks to the right places in the right order(like the original)
for those tracks you want to remove use a dummy for a title/part of title or a PGC (I always used a bitmap transcoded to a slideshow in scenarist)

after creating new vob and ifo files with the authoring program and merging the menu tables with ifo edit you have to change the jump command in the first play PGC in VMGN_MAT of the new video-ts.ifo to the command of the original.
sometimes you have to change also the aspect ratio for the menu with ifoedit.

thats it

the only thing which doesn't work:

if you are playing the movie and jump directly to audio or subpicture menu, changing the subpicture or audiostream, and then jumping back to the movie the movie will always start at the beginning, I didn't find a solution for this yet.

In some cases this method is uncomfortable:

for example 'the english patient' PAL has 95 titles, most of them are little slideshows as part of the menu, the movie is located in the last title, so you have to create 94 dummy titles to match the original title structure.

compared to the method with ifoupdate,I don't know which one to prefer, both methods work, thanks to Derrow and jdobbs at this point.:)
