Hey, I found a bug when using Vorbis audio with DivX 5.01. It gives me video glitches at different areas of the video. The reason I know that its Vorbis causing the problem is cuz I view the video without the audio and it's fine...it's also fine with MP3 audio...but as soon as mux the video with vorbis audio it gives me the same glitches in the exact same area of the video. At first I thought it was OggMux that was causing the problem...so I tried 3 different versions of the program...and had the same results. So then I decided to try graphedit, but again the same problem accured. So the only solution that I can think of is to go back to using MP3 audio. Unless someone else has another alternative...cuz I'm out of ideas. By the way, I have the latest Ogg Direct Show filters installed...version 0.9.9.1. Any help is appreciated...thank you.

I don't think this is a bug with Vorbis but maybe Tobias can prove me wrong. In fact I've never had this happen to me at all but then again I'm not using Divx :-)

So...moving this thread to the new A/V forum.

Just an idea: what max keyframe spacing are you using? The only rip I have real problems with is one where I used 10000 as max keyframe spacing (and 2 audio streams).

My Max Keyframe Spacing is set to 300 cuz the movie is NTSC.

It can be because you set post processing toooooo high.

I did not use post-processing. Someone on the divx.com forum said that it's cuz DivX 5.01 doesn't work well when using B-Frames inside an ogm container. When I get the chance, i'll do a test without the B-Frames.
