If any of you get a virus where dvd2svcd is the sender, please don't blame me (or anybody else). The new Klez G variant has a nasty feature. It not only uses mail addresses as the recipient but also as the sender (spoofing) so it is quite difficult to know where the virus is from originally. I have heard quite a few blame each other for having virus. Read some here:

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.gen@mm.html

I do all that I can to avoid this, like updating the virus definitions every 2 hour around the clock (I know, it's overkill, but better safe than sorry). Anyway, another thing for Norton Antivirus users. Liveupdate is only updated once a week, whereas the Intelligent Updater is updated multiple time every week. For those of you using either an older version of NAV or NAVCE read here how to use intelligent Updater:

http://service4.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2000010708230148

Also, I get about 10-15 mails infected with the Klez virus each day, so PLEASE, update your antivirus software everyday if possible.

yea, i suffer from the same problem.
i got virusmail from Albert Faber (author of CDEX/MP2enc). i knew the letter wasn't sent by him, 'cause i know his actual email address, and the letter was from official address.
i bet he got the same virus from "me".

anyway, have i ever mentioned that my mail client is.. Netscape 3 :D ?
