okie. I'm using nero5.580 to burn my vcd 2.0. when i watch on my player, there will be instances when the video will play faster than the audio. However, i checked the disc out on my com and nothing seems wrong. I also checked the mpg file, nothing wrong too. Can anyone help?

depends on how you split the movie. If u use tmpeg, you can get synch problems. Beast to split at a keyframe with VDub and encode the video with tmpeg. Do the audio separately.

try making the vcds with tmpeg. I remember seeing somewhere that Nero had compatibility issues with some dvd players. You could make them with tmpeg, make an image with vcdimager and burn that image. Bit lengthy but might work

it could be your player. i made a vcd for one of my friends and the sound was off on that, i used TMPG, and another guy made a vcd with nero and the sound was off. I think the dvd player was a haas or something....something cheap. The vcds played fine on computer.

You could also try dropping you burning speed as low as possible and try again. Sometimes high speeds cause this prob.
