Should we install the new version over the installed one, or should we uninstall first?

Hi jopereira,

I would recommend to completely uninstall the previous version before - just to be on the safe side. After that do a normal install of the new version. There might be no problems if you install it over a previous version but it is not recommended - and an uninstall only is a matter of seconds and no need for a reboot also - so why risk some glitches if not doing so. ;)

Apart from that there are updates for DVD2SVCD that must be installed over a previous version because they only replace a few files - but that doesn't apply for the whole bundle.

So, as simple rule of thumb: For the "Bundle" do a uninstall of the previous/install of the new bundle and for an "Update" do a install over the existing version.
