I'm trying to encode 8GB DV type 2 file with CCE 2.62 . It accepts it, but when I hit "encode" I get a message "Index size too big(75)".
My setup is: pentium 4 1.8g 384ram Win Xp with NTFS partitions.
CCE accepts 4.5GB DV file and encodes it with no problems.
What could be wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Alex.

I think that CCE doesn't support AVI's bigger than 2 GB. Frameserve it instead.

2.62 will support over 2GB DirectShow avis, but ive only got it working with vfw codecs in directshow avi.

for DV, I have installed the canopus software codec, which uses the fourcc code of CDVC where normal DV files use DVSD, which means i can use my DV normally, and when i go to use CCE, i just change the fourcc code.

ive found that 2.62 doesnt like XP on my system either, so im using 2k SP2, and the over 2gb DirectShow DV files im using are an export from Premiere 6.

hope that gives you something to try, if not we'll think of something else.

Thank you for reply. I'll try that.
How do you change DV codec in CCE?
Regards.

I had the same problem with 2.62.
Upgrade to 2.64.10 and it will fix this problem.
