How to create a chapter at each Cell-ID?

I have a DVD with the chapters messed up, is there a way I can tell the IFO to make a chapter at the beginning of every cell id? If anyone has any hints or places to look, I would be very happy! heh thnx!

Jdobbs wrote a VERY handy little util called IFOUpdate. All you have to do is:

1) Re-author the VOB you're working with making sure your chapters are correct. (I use ChapterXtractor and import the file into Maestro)

2) Rename the files to match what the ones being replaced are and copy them over. (ie. if the movie was located at VTS_03_x.VOB then rename your newly created VTS_01_x.VOB files to VTS_03_x.VOB and move them into the original folder. Do NOT copy the VTS_0x_0.VOB file!)

3) Run Jdobb's IFOUpdate util and it will ask you for the path to the authored IFO file and the path to the original IFO. Click the "Update" button. (Only button there. Hard to miss. ;) )

4) Click "Get VTS Sectors" in IFOEdit and all your chapter points will be correct!

Hope this helps ya solve the problem. I forget the link to his utility but he has it posted here somewhere. Just do a search for it.

No need to re-author the DVD.

Just start IfoEdit, and press the BUTTON 'Create IFOs'.
It will create a new set of IFO files, which will contain a chapter for each cell-id.
But of course, no Menu will be existing for your DVD.
