How Can I import Chapter point with ChaptXtracter in Maestro...?
I am rencode the NTSC video at 23.97
use pulldown to back to 29.97
but Maestro reject the import list.
I already have successfully import the Chapterpoints for
PAL videos...
What I am doing wrong ...??

Hi,
pls. post a short list of your chapter points and I am going to tell you what you're doing wrong.
Pls. ensure that you add the right offset (check by right-clicking the video in the asset bin and chosse Properties).
Use the latest ChapterXtractor 0.96 (0.961) which has a well working Maestro export function.

Hi..
Here is the list
$Spruce_IFrame_List
00:00:00:00
00:00:00:16
00:00:46:01
00:06:21:10
00:13:47:03
00:24:05:20
the source was FILM Mode so I encode it at 23.97 after encoding pulldown it to get 29.97
but the current chapter list is not working..
I tried to get a 23.97 list from Chapter Xtracter but it also not worked...
Thanls

Hi,
looks ok so far. Now what's your Video asset offset ?
Right-Click the video stream (in asset bin or timeline) and choose 'Properties' (see my first post ;-).
You encode with CCESP ? Most likely you did NOT change the offset in the Video tab, well this will give your video a 1 hour offset (check in CCESP, am I right, this is the default settings, wonder why it is...). So, all you chapter points are outside the actual video asset. So carefully check before you encode.
Correct your list:
$Spruce_IFrame_List
01:00:00:00
01:00:00:16
01:00:46:01
01:06:21:10
01:13:47:03
01:24:05:20
If you use the original video of the DVD which may has a weird offset, you need to calculate the offset in ms (milliseconds, HH x 3,600,000 + MM x 60,000 + SS x 1,000 + FF / .02997 (NTSC; or / .025 PAL, 1 frame = 40ms) and put that number in the offset field of ChapterXtractor. This intellegent programm will add that to all your chapterpoints automatically.

Hi..
Yes I am using the CCE with NTSC source.
I have checked it, I reset it to 00.00.00.00,
I also have a problem...
When ever I manually add the chapter points it was not
extact scene (time) location as original was...
it some time few frame after that piont which
chapterXtracter display, & some time more 1 to 5 sec after..
What I am doing wrong..
Main thing is that my video & audio syc. was perfect when I compile my project..
Thanks
