Hi,
I've searched through the forum but can't find the answer. I'm using DVD2SVCD (D2S109B12) and CCE2.5 to create PAL SVCDs My player picks them up OK but plays them with a border at the top and bottom as if they were widescreen format. This happens to all my discs including the ones I encode as "4:3 (No borders encoded as 4:3)"
How do I stop this happening?
I tried re-sizing the vertical but it was no longer SVCD compliant.
What else can I try?

Andrew

hmmm ... Have you checked the box "edit Avisynth script" on the frameserver tab and actually looked at the script when it pops up?.

It could either be there OR in the AR parameter that is passed to CCE, which should've been taken care of according to what you write.

cheers

Yes. I had a look at the Avisynth script when it stopped for editing.
There were no borders in there.
Any other ideas?

On more (maybe stupid) idea. Are you sure that there aren't any black borders in the source. Take the generated avs-file (provided dvd2svdc doesn't erases it ... it's an option too) and send it to mplayer2 to check.
