Hello everyone! Can anyone give me a link where I can download the FBI Warning-Screen that we see sometimes as a first play of commercial dvd's.Thanks in advance!;)
What format do you want it in?
.vob
.avi (divx/uncompressed)
or does it not realy matter.

Hi-
I have no idea where to download it. But as you know it's in every DVD. So why not track it down from inside any DVD, and encode it any way you like? It would be easy enough to do if you've had any encoding experience at all.

Thanks for responding guys!
I need it in Avi.
I use CCE SP. And yes i thought about doing that (track it down from inside a DVD). I guess that might be the best way.
Thanks guys!;)
Pardon me for asking but wwhat on earth would you want it for? I was under the impression that just about everyone considered it sloppy to have the FBI warning in an encode.

Hello Hanty,
I am going to author Commercial DVD's.<----that's why. I was wondering some client might want to have the "FBI Screen thingy" as set the very first play on their DVD.
;) I would seem pretty dull if someone put it on their "Home Video,Wedding,Etc." DVD.

I'm not so sure. I think that's the one place I would like it. Anyone that copies my summer vacation videos will find themselves crushed under the full weight of the law. :)

You betcha. I don't want my valuable videos to join the over 350,000 movies being downloaded daily over the Internet (according to Jack Valenti here (http://www.mpaa.org/jack/)). Nosiree Bob.

There is a *big* difference, yes, I know, but the point of view still applies.
That is why I find it funny when someone (espically on a board deicated to ripping movies / (or distributing them) ) says "I don't want "MY" video being 'distributed' "

This has stopped being funny.
you are distributing videos
Who says so? You? With what evidence?
a board dedicated to ripping movies
Perfectly legal in most places, and probably legal when you own the DVD in most of the rest.
or distributing them
Sheer nonsense. If that's what you think this site is about, you are sadly mistaken.

Well, I was being ironic, but if it was too subtle for you, then I apologize.

No, this board is not for distributing (I knew that would be confused). I just find it, as you said, "ironic" :)
No had feelings...
Edit: Er... not hard feelings that is....

Deepa: Did you consider calling the FBI and asking them about it? Maybe you should mention to them how Flavas likes to distribute movies ;) heh

Why are people and reporters ( :D ) always impliying that all members of the "DVD backup scene" are pirating in one way or another?
What a pile of crap :( .
Whatever...
BTW, isn't it illegal to copy the FBI logo :scared: .
Cheers,
Mijo.

Okie, are you sure? I thought I saw mention of it (or maybe it was the interpol multi-lingual warning) in a WIPO document. ;)

Me, don't know. I'm just a stupid foreigner who is here to learn new ways to pirate DVDs and download the latest moviez (notice the very trendy "z") via dial up.
Hurry up! Before: “Ze Germans get here.”
Mpucoder, as always you are one step ahead... :)
Yawn. Thank you and good night,
Ookie (named by a member who stopped posting his very intelligent postings :( )
