Just processed the Widescreen version of Deer Hunter (took forever) and noticed that the video was very choppy in parts and appeared interlaced (jagged lines) in others.
I've processed over 100 backups and haven't encountered any movies that did this. I have not adjusted any of the bitrates or anything like that.
I use xmpeg sometimes to see if it is progressive frames, interlaced, etc., and it did not appear any different that any other movie that I've come across.
It's not just the SVCD, I looked that the ripped VOB files (used DVD2SVCD internal routines) and the VOB files play exactly the same way on my PC using WinDVD.
I'm going to try ripping a few chapters with vstrip or SmartRipper to see if there is any difference.
Anyone out there get Deer Hunter to look right?
