I made an svcd (2 x 80 min) with dvd2svcd and tmpgenc. I played the cue/bin file with daemon and powerdvd, than I burned the disk with clonecd. When I play the movie (the mummy returns) on my dvd-player (Provision) I get on 00:24:55 min. some bad frames, when I play the disk on my pc (with the cd-player, because the dvd-player can’t play burned cd’s) there is no problem. I burned the movie to another disk, same problem on the same place. I tried Nero, same problem. What doe I wrong.

Maybe at 24:55 min there's a higher bitrate and your player can't handle.
try using bitrate viewer to check with how much bitrate is encoded that part of movie and if other part of movie get higher bitrate.
If every part of movie with high bitrate plays jerky is really a problem of high bitrate, and the only thing to do is to reencode the whole movie lowering the max bitrate.

I tried the bitrate viewer, but the bitrate on this part of the movie is not higher than in other parts of the movie.

Have you been able to play other SVCD's you have created on your DVD player?
Is your DVD player listed at www.vcdhelp.com as being able to play SVCD's?
I looked at vcdhelp, but couldn't find any provision players. If you meant Proscan they do not play SVCD's. I also found a Proline, but it doesn't play SVCD's either.
Without logs there is noway we can tell if there was an encoding problem.
Lowering your bitrate is a good thing to try.

I already looked at www.vcdhelp.com and my dvd-player is not in the list.
I have already made five svcd’s. Four I can play without a problem, with the fifth (Shrek) I have the same problem as with the mummy returns.
When the dvd-player played two movies, will sometimes the picture freeze but the counter still works, but if I stop the movie en restart the movie it plays without a problem.
My dvd-player works with cvd-subtitle and most of the movies I made, I have joust two subtitles and two audio-streams, without any problems.

Your problem of bad frames is surely causeb by a bug of submux (and Winsubmux). I reported this bug on http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14928.
I informed personally to new_age (author of Winsubmux) of this problem. Now, the bug is described on the readme file of Winsubmux.
At the moment, you can avoid the problem using the Iauthor muxer as described on http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23375. This procedure is now implemented in the current version of DVD2SVCD.
Best regards.

I tried dvd2svcd 1.0.9. with I-Author muxing, but it only work when I jous one audio-stream, but in the most movies I jous two audio-streams and than I-Author doesn’t work.
Is there no other program I can jous in dvd2svcd with two cvd subtitles en two audio-streams without having trouble with the pictures. Or have I an older version? EnReach MPEGII MUX 2.3.6.3, when I joused WinSubMux 0.1.0.1 I have trouble with the pictures, not in al movies, but is some of them.

@Lecture
In the past, I had succesfully used the Iauthor muxer for muxing two audio streams and two CVD subtitle streams. You say that you have trouble with two audio streams. What message displays the Iauthor muxer?
Note that in some cases you need to reduce the default max bitrate of the video stream in order to get a total bitrate smaller than 2723 kb/sec.

Good news! New_age (author of Winsubmux) had done a great job. The last build of WinSubmux fixes the "bad frames" bug and provides important enhancements. Please see http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23471
Best regards

Thanks Needle
I have download the file and will try it. In +/- 48 hours I will now if it works and I hoop that the problems with the dvd-player are over.
