Is there a way to specify multi segment AVI files as input into AVI2SVCD mode of DVD2SVCD program? It seems like there should be but I am having problems figuring it out. Thanks.
For example:
file_00.avi
file_01.avi
file_02.avi
.

Reading the forum rules and not violating rules 1 and 1a would be a great start. I need to asses you one strike for violation of ruls 1 and 1a.

Simply doing a search would have revealed these results:

Nobody is going to kill you, but why waste your own time when you could have already been doing this hours ago?

Neither of the above links work any longer...any chance of an idea on how to do multiple avi's in DVD2SVCD? I tried editing the avs script with "and" and that works for the video but of course does not do the audio because that is done before the avs comes into play.

1. dvd2svcd do not support multiple avis. thats a fact !
2. we need to feed dvd2svcd with a single file ! how to do then ?... merging the files !
3. go to doom9 web page and search in the avi tools section for any software that makes the merging process ( i use aviutl ).
just a thought:
remember a guy that once told " do not ask what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country " .
do not expect to have your problems ALL solved by miracle by this software ! it takes to many time to develop it ! this kind of tweeks can be done easy if we use our brains.

Didn't mean the question as a "DVD2SVCD should do everything", it wasn't a demand...just thought there might have been some trick I'd missed. I understand about joining before hand but the avi's I have are captured VHS in Huffy and are pretty big. I don't think I would have the space to join them.
DVD2SVCD is a terrific program, and some times spoils us. I find from time to time that I forget how to manually do some of the things I've gotten used to letting DVD2SVCD handle for me.
I'll do the captured video with TMPGenc manually, and save DVD2SVCD for DVDrips ect.
