Just tried ifoedit0.9. I'm running win2000, and usually use a H+ for dvd playback. When I try to use the built in dvdplayer on ifo edit I get the error message in the title. Does the built in player require a properly istalled software player ??

It requires a 3rd party installed mpeg2 decoder filter for the usage with DirectX8.0

Such filters are usualy installed with 3rd party DVD player softwares.

Thanks a lot for the reply.

COuld you be a little more specific about "third party". I have the free Elecard filters installed, and if i use graphedit to open avob file then the video and audio plays fine. Same (obviously) if i use windows maedia player.
But I still get the same error with Ifoedit. Just checked again, I also gey "1 of 3 DVD video streams failed to render properly - subpicture stream do you want to continue" followed by title message, then windows 2000 error codes !

Update ---- Just installed WinDVD 3.0, dissabled my H+, the subs message has gone, but the original title fault is still there. ;-((
