I have recently been having problems with several movies. After I let DVD2SVCD run to the end I would find that a movie that is 1:30 will only be 40 minutes and the audio is way out of synch.
I initially tried ripping the movie with internal routines, vstrip and smartripper, thinking this might be the problem. Then I started looking at the files created by DVD2SVCD to see if there were any anomolies. What I found was that the AC3 audio track was the same length as the video track but the audio track converted to mp2 was several minutes longer and when played had a lower pitch.
I found the cause of my audio synch problem, but I don't understand how I can fix it. I also don't understand why bbMPEG would cut the movie in this way.
Any help would be appreciated.
