at last i can post questions. i have a avi file about 400mb, its watchable but i wondering if theres away of improving how it looks , e.g improving the frames. :D

The only way you can make it look better is by turning up the post-processing of the video when you are watching. I dont imagine it will the video look a lot better, but it will help some.

Did you encode it (meaning do you still have the source)?

If not then the only way to "improve" it is to re-encode it with some blurring or sharpening filters. But I wouldn't call it improving really, because usually whatever you do actually degrades the quality. If you can't re-encode it directly from the source it's 99% of the time not worth it.
