View Full Version : Audio not in Sync when joining VOBs from two different IFOs...

Amit
3rd May 2002, 06:03
I tried to join the Legally Blonde R1 movie with the Bonus material using both 1.0.8 B1 and 1.0.9B1. Both the times as soon as the audio of the movie gets over and the encoding of the VOBs from another IFO start a delay of about 3 seconds in video happens. This happens either you RIP the whole movie or in part and try to join it with another VOBs from anothet IFO. And the problem is not with this movie but with any movie. Here are LOGS....

Did you even try any of the things I said in the other post you made about this same thing?
Read my response where you orginally asked the same question just a few minutes before posting this.
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24317

Like I told you trying to add extra's onto the movie is an iffi proposition at best.

Try it with a real 2 sided DVD and not extras and get back to us.

I should close this thread since you already asked the same exact question just a few minutes ago in another thread and didn't bother to try what was suggested, but I will let it live since it shouldn't have been asked there anyway.

I am assesing you a strike however for breaking rule 8.
8) No cross posting. Post your message to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.

You didn't cross post among forums, but you posted the same question twice in the same forum.

Just found the answer and it confirms what I said. This is a qoute from the text from the DVD2AVI readme file that you will find in the DVD2SVCD\AVI2SVCD forum.

* Known Bugs *

1. DVD2AVI only aligns the start point of A/V streams.
If the movie is not encoded at once that PTS restarts (such as bonus track or different episodes) It's possible to lose synchronization from the break point.
