Plays on Computer but not in Truck

I have SVCDs that I did not make which play well on my computer and in my truck. AVI titles that I have converted to SVCD play perfectly on my computer but constantly start and stop when played in the Multi-Disk DVD in the truck. All default settings were used in DVD2SVCD to make the CDs. Realizing the problem is with the DVD player is there any setting I could try differently in the software during conversion that may help??

maybe another type/brand of CDRs or a lower write speed could help.

From the research I have done so far those are the two best possibilities for improvement or at least a chance of playing SVCD on the stand alone player. I will give it a try. Thanks for your info


Well that was simple enough, burning speed did it. I have a 24x Plextor and I slowed it down to 4x and the SVCD's play perfectly in the truck. I will cancel the RMA for the DVD player and I'm happy. Thanks :) :) :) :)
