Preview Video: Another use for it?

Thanks DVD2SVCD for the great program and all of the recent enhancements including the Preview Video feature.

I am usually as unhappy as anyone else who frequently reads this forum when someone makes a suggestion for possible future features...

So I am going to stick my neck out this ONE time. :(

Would it be possible to incorporate an enhancement of the "Preview Video" feature where a viewed frame could be selected as the Title Pic or Change CD Pic??

Yes I know there are a lot of other priorities.

You could try this and see if it works.
Play the DVD in a software DVD player like WinDVD, do a screen capture and then convert it to the size and shape you need.
I think this would be easier and you can do it now.

I know ;) , I've used screen capture in WinDVD before.

I was merely suggesting an idea to utilize a (new)feature already present in the DVD2SVCD program. The program commandeers many other programs so that users don't have to do a conversion piece by piece. This would be a further enhancement, no more...the image is right there. It, itself, is doing a frame (screen) capture.

Man, I love this program.....

I was just thinking how hard that actually would be though. You have size restrictions and I have no idea what could do a frame grab and resize it on the fly. It may seem very simple, but if you really consider what has to be done to get it to work it's no so simple. In addition it has to be converted to the right type of file as well.
Maybe it could be done, but it's way beyond me and seems such a nitch suggestion. Most people, like me, prefer to use the cover as the opening inmage.

Not knocking you just trying to show that this program will never be able to do everything for everyone.
