I have some divx movies I see that I have 4 speaker surround sound with them. When I make a movie with dvd2svcd I only have 2 channel sound. Why is this? I know that dvd2svcd uses BeSweet and with the new build for BeSweet U can some how have surround sound. (even though I have not had time to sit down and try this for myself) Is there a way to configur dvd2svcd to make use of the settings in BeSweet? I do understand that it will take up more cds to keep the video quilty but there are some movies U just want to keep the sound quilty up there has well. :D

Thanks for any help at all!!!

Oh yah WAY GOOD JOB ON DVD2SVCD :p

4 speaker surround IS 2 channel sound. Since you are using a divx file as your source I would assume that the encoder already did a dolby surround sound downmix, in which case when you convert the audio to mp2 and author your svcd you have preserved this.

If played back on a Dolby surround reciever you will get dolby surround, if played back on a Pro logic reciever you will get pro logic sound. Both are examples of what you describe as 4 speaker sound.
