depends on what you want to do. Every Maestro / Scenarist user that has tried it got to hate it.. but if you're in for something really simple then it might be an option.

I havn't got Maestro or Scenarist and undestand they are complex.I am considering getting the Workshop for simple capture and dvd authoring.

The reviews have been pretty good. Its major weakness is its lack of support for AC3. I haven't tried it yet for that reason.
