Permanent Subs Problem...

Hi everyone..

i got a little problem .
As for long time i encode my SVCD with DVD2SVCD with permanent subs
coz my home dvd can't play any subs format .

When play the encoded part the subtitles seem to be little unreadable.
It means that when have a darker movie part the subs come out great but when a lighter part its hard to read , like some edges of the subs are cut out.

Is there another solution for this problem .
I have this problem when Encoding the Friends TV series or Some anime.

I allready tried to use other colors but it still stays the same.

Now another question , WINSUBMUX is this a program that after muxing an mpg and sub file together have an mpg with permanent susbs or some else .

. you can use resize to make the subs biger or smaller sa you like.
. you should use blend =0 in the subs color palete
. fixed subs are hardcoded by avisynth subtitler winsubmux is used only for selectable subs

I use '7' for background blend value in these cases.
It makes the subs' background semitransparent. (So the settings from top to bottom: 7, 15, 15, 15)

Try it on a small chapter or even better: select that part of your movie where the bootom is white. YOu can do that with vdub. Insert a "trim(firstframe, lastframe)" into your avs file. (Audio will not be OK, but nevermind, it's the video which is being tested.)
