To the people with Audigy + Inspire 5300

Hi everyone,

after struggling with DD5.1 sound for the last two weeks without any success, I am wondering if there's ONE single person out there who has Windows XP, a SB Audigy and CL Inspire 5300 speakers and who is actually able to listen to real 5.1 sound (DVD and DivX AC3).

I really have tried everything. But there always are stupid problems which are either Creatives fault or because of the fxxkin' Intervideo AC3 Filters.

Please let me know.

No problem with my system!

I'm using PowerDVD and WinDVD both are working well for me.

AC3 decoding by software (6 Speakers settings)
or hardware (SPDIF) both are working well!

PS. Make sure you enabling 6 speakers setting from the
SB mixer!

As for your problem, it most likely is not the InterVideo filter and it most likely is the Audigy card. I've seen countless posts on several forums stating the same issue.

Sorry Matter, I didn't intend to be rude.

ookzDVD, with DVD Players I have no problem either, but AC3 DivX doesn't work as it should.
