Importing or parsing .IFO (Maestro)

I'd love to play with a DVD and edit it without starting from scratch and reauthoring it all again.

I think you should try IfoEdit. I'm using Maestro for an year, but I haven't seen any possibility to do this (and manuals doesn't say a word about that).

Based on my own experience, i don't think that what you want to do is "a job" for authoring programs!

i use ifo edit, however ui was thinking of an importer or something , thanks anyway

can't be done. DVD authoring tools are there to create DVDs from scratch.. if you want to start from existing sources and navigation links you need ifoedit (or be very good with a hex editor).
