I'm using CLADDVD "NO IFO PARSING" to rip then burn DVDs that are smaller than 4.5 gigs. Do I use the same mode for creating splitting into 2 dvd's or taking out the menus?

IFOEdit has a function to do that. I suggest you take a look at it.
