I'm using Gordian Knot to encode a DivX5 movie. I have a 2 channel ac3 track (2_0ch). The guide says to use the following azid parameters:
-z1 -b1 -c normal -L -3db

I think these parameters were meant for 3_2ch type ac3 tracks. How should I change the parameters? How about this:
-z1 -b1 -c normal -L -0db

-c normal is enough, you may add -a to normalize your file

I tried:
-c normal -a
and:
-a -c normal.
Neither were accepted. No error message, but no output either.

This does work, at least I get an output file:
-z1 -b1 -c normal -L -0db
which is close to the guide.

I guess I need a better explaination on your suggestion. I'm using the DivX5 guide.
