Should one update the tools used by DVD2SVCD manually or wait for the next DVD2SVCD

This is my first post here but I've been reading this forum for the last 2 month and I have been learning a lot here.

Hope this is not silly question but I never stumbled upon it here.

Should one update the tools used by DVD2SVCD manually or wait for the next DVD2SVCD update? I mean between the releases of DVD2SVCD there are several (minor) updates to the tools used like besweet,etc.

I mean, doeas DVD2SVCD pick special releases of the tools he uses so they work with dvd2svcd or can I manually update one or more of the tools?

You can always try updating manually, with a few exceptions:

- DVD2AVI
- bbMPEG

Needless to say you're will be pretty much on your own if your update fails.

not every new release of BeSweet has new features that are relevant for dvd2svcd.

whenever i believe my new version should be included in the d2s pack, i tell it to dvd2svcd, and he updates the build.

feel free to always update to the newest BeSweet releases and post your feedbacks.
