virtualdub problem

when i try to extract the audio from an .avi file i get this error,
is there any other way to get the audio out of the avi?

Thats a really old version of vdub, get the latest one and try it again.

If it doesnt work you need to give us more information. i.e. What type of avi this is. If its VBR mp3 then I suggest you try nandub to dexum it.
