Tips for getting Angle to work?

I'm currently authoring a DVD with Maestro and thought it would be fun to add some Easter Eggs. I set them up in the Connections section so that if you were watching a particular title and hit Angle, it would switch over to the Easter Egg movie. It worked fine when I tested the compiled files with Cinemaster on my computer, but when I did a test burn and tried it on two different standalone decks it wouldn't work--the little circle/line symbol or raised hand symbol would appear, as if the Angle function wasn't available.

Also, the audio for the main menu played on one machine but not the other. Are these sorts of brand-specific bugs common?
