Audio playing at double speed

I'm trying to take this divx rip of the Lord of the Rings screener and convert it to svcd. The first time I did it, the audio came out playing at double speed. The second time, i ran it through VirtualDub, extracted the .wav, and then put the audio back in using the .wav file. When DVD2SVCD is going through it's process, it's pulling the wav file out, but the mp2 file it generates seems to be the probelm. When I click on that file to listen to it, I do indeed hear the audio, playing at almost double speed. What can I do to correct this? and, do I have to go through the entire process again of converting the video, or can I just pick it up before it multiplex's it?

I deleted them, because I started over.

Seems that the lame convert isn't converting the extracted wav properly. The wav is fine, but the mp2 is not.

yep, sure enough...I opened the wav from the avi in sound forge and there it is, a big mono wav file. I would have never caught that. I'm exporting it out as a stereo wav file, then I'll use virtualdub to put the wav back into the avi.

I'll try re-encoding it tonight.
