If I want to encode a movie using the GMC option (or bilinear encoding) with Divx5 Pro and two passes...

It's needed to check this option on both passes?

I have a K6-2/500 and this option slows too much the enconding process, I want to speed the first pass only.

Yes, you need both settings enabled on BOTH passes. The first pass needs all information in the exact way the second pass will use it, so it can calculate everything in the most efficient way.

Btw, If you have a slow computer I recommend not using those options at all. Both GMC and B-frames will slow down the decoding during playback, in addition to the slow-down during encoding.
