Hi there !

I´ve just encoded Blade from DVD to MiniDVD. When I mux
the AC3 stream with the video using DVDQuickbuilder the resulting
VOB files gets async audio after the first half of the movie. This
get´s worse towards the end of the movie.

I´ve now encoded the AC3 as 256 kBit MPEG Audio Layer2 and
muxed it again. Now the resulting VOB file works fine. No async
audio till the end of the movie. DVD2AVI doesn´t show any delay
for audio when demuxing the AC3 stream from the original VOBs.

Also two other stranges things:
1) Streamweaver crashes when I try to mux the AC3 and the video stream.
2) I couldn´t jump forward and backward in the VOB with AC3 I muxed with
DVD Quickbuilder. This works fine with the other VOB with MPA.

Had anyone such experiences before ?
Is there a tool to fix corrupt AC3 streams ?
I don´t have the original DVD of Blade anymore.

Any input is welcomed.

Have you tried using the AC3 corrector tool?

I have had the same prob with many movies and sometimes this works and sometimes it doesnt. Like last night i could not get the audio from Joyride to sync.. It has a 12ms delay thay i just cant fix. I tried AC3 corrector, i tried using the create sync in Maestro and that didnt work. I hope someone out there has some more ideas. The problem is the video is before the audio. I tried starting the audio l8tr in Maestro, but no go. Unless i am doing the Maestro sync wrong. I do correct it to timeline. Is this how it should be done??

PLease somebody help up :(

that link doesn't work for me, got another? I really would like to try this AC3 Corrector tool that i've heard about multiple times now. Someone said Doom9's downloads had it but couldn't find it there either.
