HI guys i have a little problem...I burned a movie using vob instant write ...i chose udf video dvd ...and then the necessary udf format 1.02...and then burned the dvd-r ..it worked fine on my new pioneer 116.,....but not on my old asus e612.....what did i do wrong..should i have used data disc ...as an option and then burned it?? It's still confusing ..because derrows guide says use data disc..and on this board I saw another post which says do not use data disc but udf dvd video ?? any ideas

and another question ..i bruned a movie on my dvd-rw ..and now i formated it but i cannot seem to burn anything anymore on it ..( i used session at once for burning....hmmm...are u supposed to format the dvd-rw when you are gonna use it for the first time...and then burn the files u want...if so then when u do a full format do u use udf 1.05..or higher in instant format??? I think thats where i went wrong right???

Just use Data Disc, it has worked flawlessly for me, and remember to put the AUDIO_TS folder in for compatibility.

Dont re-format it the dvd-rw, just erase it using prassi or simmilar.
