DivX 5 decoder SCREWS my divx 311 content

it will play super fast here and there, and if i fast forward it plays too fast out of sync fo a bit and generally sux. I reinstaled dvix 311 again (This worked before to stop the divx 4 filter from decoding te video) and still no luck. I uninstall divx 5, and BAM all is well, back to the 311 decode filter. is there anyway to stop divx 5 from hijacking 311 playback? This really sux. IF I have to keep divx 5 off my machine, its just as well, this crap is unacceptable hijacking my 311 playback, without my knowledge or permission, and then it doesnt work right.

Ahh I see now. It's pretty sad that divx 5 hijacks divx 311 content and can't play it right. thx for the info.
