how to keep menu's

Need help w/ 2 things.
First I read dooms guides on ifoedit,but am still having no luck in being able to keep any menu's ie:01_0.vob's.
All i am successfull at is being able to keep just the main movie but some titles still have lots of room left over for the menu's.
I have copied the 01_0.vob over to the new folder & done vts sectors to see if this works but no go(I'm just completely lost here).have used both ifoedit ver 0.88 & 0.9

2nd question.
ripped starship troopers w/dvd decrypter
end up w/ ifo & 01_0.vob,01_1.vob,01_2.vob up to 01_5.vob.
This is all there is on this dvd.There is NO 02_0.vob or 03_0.vob or anything else.Size is 4.2 ggs.Make a VIDEO_TS folder,load in prassi and comes out on dvd-r exactly like my original.
Perfect way it should be.
Take South Park rip it w/dvd decrypter and get ifo etc w/01_0.vob etc,also get 02_0.vob,03_0.vob up to I think 07_0.vob.
this disc is 3.82 ggs.Make VIDEO_TS folder & load into Prassi(which it accepts)and burn.Shows initializing for about 10 seconds then bar shows 84% done and goes into finalizing.It finalizes for about 20 minutes and finishes.Power dvd says the disc is unknown format and I see that about 2 gigs of something has been burned on the disc.

Starship Troopers has only 01_0.vob's on the disc & is fine,SP has 01,02,03 etc & it is not.This is where it is screwing me up but I do not know why.
Sorry for the long winded explanation but I did not know where else to turn too.Any answers or directions to already written answers are greatly appreciated.

Concerning 2nd question:

You might want to try using the Disc Image feature of IfoEdit 0.9 instead of burning the individual files.

Another possibility is that the blank DVD had a defect. Try reading the files on the DVD back to your hard drive and see if it reads them OK.

Could also be an A03 issue, do you have the latest firmware? Do you have auto-insert notification turned off?

These are just a few ideas to explore.

I'll clarify 2nd question.
Starship Troopers=Extract EVERY file from dvd to hd.size is 4.2gs.
Make VIDEO_TS folder & put extracted files into this folder.Open prassi insert VIDEO_TS and burn.Works great.
SP=Extract Every file to hd.size 3.8 gs & do the same thing.Gives weird burn as noticed using 2 different media & a Verbatim -rw.
STAR Troopers has only a set of 01_0.vob,01_1.vob,01_2.vobup to 01_5.vob.
SP has 01_0.vob etc up to 07_0.vob.main movie I think is 04_0.vob.
This is where I think the problem is in the fact that SP has 7 different sets of vobs-don't know why but it is the only thing different between the 2 movies.That I am aware of.
This is not a big deal as i can ifo edit SP to get just the main movie & it works great but was wondering why starship was so easy & SP was acting so strange w/both being done the exact same way.
