The subject says it all... I need to convert from 32kHz MPEG-1 Layer II audio to (SVCD compliant) 44.1kHz MPEG-1 Layer II. You guys have any recommendations on what would be the easiest way to do this? I'll probably have to do it a bit so I'd prefer something commandline so I could automate it...
Thanks in advance,

1) decode to WAV using WinAmp for example
2) Then resample this WAV to 44,1KHz using CoolEdit or WaveLab for example
3) Then encode the new WAV to mp2 using TMPG for example

Winamp won't open MP2 files... or more accurately it can't play them. I think I figured it out though, I'm redoing my encoding right now but the audio looks good, heres what I did (on the off chance anyone else is dealing with this and reading this thread):
Demuxed with bbDmux to MP2
Converted to PCM wav and resampled with BeSweet
Encoded WAV to MP2 with some free commandline utility I found on mpeg.org
Remuxed with m2v using TMpeg
I think this'll work... hope so at least... then I can start writing a frontend to automate this prolly using Runbbmpeg.exe for muxing.

WinAmp plays and converts MP2-Files without any problem!
