Cropping with Divx4.12 Double pass

I was wondering where I should use the cropping "filter" with divx4.12 double pass

I tried it in the first pass and got an error, same problem in second pass.

I also tried it in both passes but got , again, an error

Is it possible to crop while I'm encoding with Divx4.12(Div 3.11 works fine) without first cropping and than encoding.

As with all filters you *must* use them in both passes.
I could perhaps help you more if I knew *what* error you had... No one here is a mindreader you know. :)

I don't know what error I get.

I use the job control function, vdup won't show an error.

I just sais "error".

I have tried it in both passes but the result was the same.

Sound is on direct stream copy. So that could not be the problem

try it without the job control and vdub will give you an error message. and now some mind reading :) : maybe you crop to a vertical resolution not dividable by 2 ? that works only with divx3.11

That was the problem. Now I crop by 2 pixels and everything works fine
