Hi.

The credits option is supose to lower the quality of the end credits, right?

But when i use it i can't see any difrens from a movie with credits option on and a movie with credits off.

I have read Doom9's GKnot guide, and i do as it's says in the guide.

Any idé why i don't see any difrens ?

PS.
Sorry for you bad english.

Yes, using the encode credits seperately does save bitrate. Most credits are simply black screens with scrolling text. It doesn't take much to encode these. If you don't want them, simply chop them off.

Also ensure you are marking the start of the credits in the preview window.

The credits option will save you some space by reducing the bitrate for the credits part and using those Mbits to increase the movie's bitrate, thus allowing for better quality.

it's quite simple. No wonder you dont see the difference as credits are usually pretty simple to encode and dont need much BR anyway. So the only diff you'll see is in the credits part filesize. You can even encode them manually and set the Divx options to your liking (1st quality base and pick a very low percentage, as I think GK uses 50%).

Most of the time, the option isnt that useful, but it's handy. Specially with those movies with multiple filming crews, tons of F/X and lots of filming locations. Credits then seem to last forever and you can gain some Mb by reducing de BR.
