hehe, i can sure pick em. This is the toughest anime i've seen so far. The color is way too intense, but I found a filter to adjust saturation/intensity (i think its one of Donald Grafts). However, the color also flickers. A lot. It's causing the codec to fart oddly-colored macroblocks into the picture. I've never dealt with anything like this, and I'm wondering if there's a way to smooth out the color flickering a bit, via filters or maybe nandub settings. I'm going to try various things and report back, but if anyone has anything constructive, please post, save us all some time :)

BTW, the source is a Hong Kong DVD of Saber Marionette J to X. You might know the one i'm talking about. They even Chinese-ized the names in the English subtitles, so I'm working on that too.

BTW, the source was 29.976fps interlaced, non-telecined. So at least there arent any IVTC issues to deal with.

The SMJ Again US DVD had horrible rainbows and color bleeds as well. So we can only assume that the masters was of bad quality in these series. My earlier group ripped them but was unable to do anything about it, the source's shortcomings was that bad.
