How to find layers on DVD?

So, I want to copy one 9 Gigs DVD to another one. But I ned to separate layers.
How I can find layers on DVD? I mean wich file should be in which layer? Because after decrypting I got all files from DVD, but for making new 9 Gb's DVD I need to know how to separate layers. Does anybody know something about this? I believe, that this information should be in "ifo" files, but I can't find it. :( Please, help me. Thank you very much!

Correct me if im wrong someone, but you cant just do it like that. Besides, I wouldnt have though you had a. The equipment and b. the media to create such a dvd.
Dual layer dvds are practically non-existant to 'normal' people. Im not too sure about drives that can actually write them either!

You'd need to write to 2 different dvds (IFOEdit has a feature to enable you to do this), or to two sides of a dual sided dvd.

There is professional equipment for producing 9 Gigs DVDs in US. I have just Pioneer DVR-S201 and can't check 9 Gigs DVD. I should prepare DVD for them, but I don't want to redo all chapters, menus, etc. It all done, not encrypted and I cant separate layers on 2 DLT tapes. :(

I've read the datasheet of the Pioneer DVR-S201, and it can't burn 9GB DualLayer DVDR. It's burn only 3.95 and 4.7GB Authoring DVDR (0,635 instead of 0,65 for General 'normal' ones).
I don't where you see 9gb dvd recorder. Are you sure that's exists (a burner, not a press) ? The only Dvd>9Gb that I know is the DVD-RAM double-sided.
